{"id":12683,"date":"2026-02-16T20:13:15","date_gmt":"2026-02-16T20:13:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/devcore.ca\/?post_type=job_offers&#038;p=12683"},"modified":"2026-02-16T20:17:46","modified_gmt":"2026-02-16T20:17:46","slug":"engineering-project-manager-bilingual-gatineau-devcore","status":"publish","type":"job_offers","link":"https:\/\/devcore.ca\/en\/job-offer\/engineering-project-manager-bilingual-gatineau-devcore\/","title":{"rendered":"Engineering Project Manager (Bilingual)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div style=\"height:4em\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\"><section id=\"single-job-info-block_13a898fcc413700cb56207dcb2b7ed46\" class=\"single-job-info\">\r\n\r\n    \n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group single-job-info__grid is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Reporting to the Director of Development, the Engineering Project Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and technical oversight of real estate development projects from the design phase through completion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The successful candidate acts as a key liaison between internal teams, external professionals, and regulatory authorities to ensure project quality, compliance, and overall performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Plan, coordinate, and oversee engineering components related to real estate developments (infrastructure, civil engineering, environmental, geotechnical, depending on the project).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to defining technical requirements and assist in developing budgets, schedules, and deliverables.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead the tendering process, analyze proposals, and participate in the selection of suppliers and professional firms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate the work of engineering firms, consultants, architects, and other internal and external professionals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage requests and work coordination with utility providers (hydro, gas, telecommunications, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review and validate plans, specifications, and technical studies (geotechnical, environmental, traffic, municipal infrastructure, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, laws, and regulations in Quebec and Ontario.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with municipalities and regulatory authorities to obtain required approvals, permits, and authorizations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor project costs, schedules, and technical risks throughout all phases.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify technical challenges and propose solutions to optimize costs, quality, and overall project performance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain close coordination with internal development, construction, and property management teams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform any other related duties associated with engineering project management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Desired Profile<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We are looking for a dynamic, proactive individual who is customer-oriented and has a strong sense of priorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Skills and Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, or related discipline).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 to 5 years of relevant experience in engineering project management, ideally within the real estate, municipal, or construction sectors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong knowledge of applicable standards, codes, and regulations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent communication, coordination, and collaboration skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and attention to detail.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in standard computer tools (MS Office and project management software).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Member of the Ordre des ing\u00e9nieurs du Qu\u00e9bec (OIQ) or Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO), or eligible for membership (an asset).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WHAT WE OFFER:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Competitive salary<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Competitive benefits package.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborative work environment with large-scale and diverse projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professional development opportunities within a growing organization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Eager to be part of a team committed to making a difference?
