The position is primarily responsible for the full accounts payable cycle, bank reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, and providing accounting support for construction projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>MAIN RESPONSABILITIES<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice entry and verification, account coding, approvals, payments, and vendor follow-ups;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow up with project managers regarding invoices pending approval;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with cash flow management and payment planning;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Record and reconcile credit card transactions;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform bank reconciliations for the various company entities;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare disbursement files related to construction projects, including project cost reports and supporting documentation;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow up with cost consultants, professionals, project managers, and other stakeholders;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare certain monthly accounting journal entries, particularly those related to insurance, payroll, administrative expenses, and projects;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Obtain and verify releases of claims and other required documentation for financing applications;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in month-end closing activities and the preparation of various financial reports;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work closely with the Finance team, project managers, estimators, and various departments across the company;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>QUALIFICATIONS<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and autonomous individual who enjoys working in a dynamic environment where multiple projects are managed simultaneously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ideal candidate has:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A degree, diploma, or training in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Relevant experience in accounting and accounts payable;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong proficiency in Excel and accounting software;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in the construction or real estate industry is a strong asset;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of Jonas software is an asset;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ease in following up with multiple internal and external stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><strong><em>WHAT WE OFFER<\/em><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An opportunity to work in a dynamic and stimulating environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A base salary plus substantial commissions and benefits.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A chance to contribute directly to tenant improvement and satisfaction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>BENEFITS<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Group insurance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Telemedicine<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Employee Assistance Program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>WHY JOIN US?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute directly to the financial management of multiple construction projects.
